What is a chiropractic treatment like?
You may have heard of “chiropractic manipulation” or a “chiropractic adjustment.” These terms are interchangeable and they both refer to specific maneuvers used by your body placement and pressure applied from the chiropractor in order to unlock joints from stuck places and return your skeleton structure to its natural state.

Before a manipulation, the chiropractor will do a series of muscle tests that will determine where the adjustment needs to take place. You might be surprised that while you have pain or discomfort in one area, the adjustment actually needs to take place near an opposing muscle!
